Growing up in a large family in San Mateo, Mark Dowling was inspired to build things from an early age.  Whether that was building furniture, homes, or antique cars, Mark has always enjoyed working with his hands to create one of a kind pieces of art.

After graduating from Santa Clara University with a degree in Economics, Mark returned to the field that he loved.  In 2006, Mark launched Dowling Builders.  He set out to create a different kind of company taking a customer centric approach.  Building long-lasting relationships and providing clients with unparalleled customer service are two components he believes are key to making successful projects.
